Recuperem fotografies d'esports
Presentem una selecció de 95 imatges de principis del segle XX, del fons de l'Arxiu General de Diputació, que abasten totes les disciplines esportives que eren protagonistes al carrer i a revistes esportives com ara Stadium. Hem volgut, però, anar més enllà per mostrar la concepció social i fins i tot filosòfica de l’esport al final del segle XIX i començament del XX.
Són el testimoni de com la societat també es manifesta i es construeix a través de l’esport. Tot i que eren pràctiques elitistes en aquell moment, van ser l’inici d’una cultura esportiva de masses, tal com la coneixem ara, i del periodisme esportiu actual.
