Course entitled "Cities, foreign action and cooperation in the context of the sustainable development goals"
The on-line course "Cities, foreign action and cooperation in the context of the sustainable development goals" will be run from 19 November to 21 December. It is organised by the Andalusian Fund of Municipalities for International Solidarity (FAMSI), the International University of Andalusia (UNIA), Seville Provincial Council, and the Andalusian Agency for International Development Cooperation (AACID), with the support of the UCLG, AL-LAS and the UNDP.
The main aim of the 60-hour course is to strengthen international advocacy of Andalusia's decentralised approach to cooperation, through improved training and innovation in international networks and in international bodies in Andalusia and Latin America. The course is part of the "Hercules" project to provide training in international networks and work experience placements for young Andalusians in international organisations and, although it is aimed at employees in local authorities in Andalusia and Latin America, it is also open to people from other regions and sectors. Registration is open until 15 November.
