Contest to search for final master's theses that contribute to the study of the Sustainable Development Goals

Red Cross Catalonia announces the Interuniversity Search Contest for Master's Theses to encourage research in the field of sustainable development.

The call, which is carried out with the support of the Barcelona City Council, aims to reward and publicly recognise students who contribute to promoting sustainable development, through the approach and study of issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) from an approach based on social transformation.

The contest is aimed at master’s students of the city of Barcelona who present their master´s thesis this 2018-2019 course and whom meet the requirements and characteristics of the work established in the regulatory bases of the contest. The deadline for submitting an application is from July 1 to September 16, 2019 (both included).

In addition, the Department of International Cooperation, Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law of the Red Cross offers a free advice and mentoring service for those interested in joining the contest.

The first prize consists in the publication of the research paper and the invitation to present the findings in the conference "Public-private partnerships for the achievement of the 2030 Agenda" that will take place in the first half of 2020. One or more papers submitted to the contest may also receive special mentions.
