Guide
Target population:
Local administrations and citizen associations
Objetive:

Provide criteria, recommendations, frameworks for action and real examples of urban agriculture projects.

Methodology:

This toolkit examines examples of successful policy changes in Ontario, Canada, to make urban agriculture more accessible to the population.

It describes the steps required to create communities that can actively participate in urban agricultural initiatives and provides considerations, areas of opportunity and a final checklist.

Opportunities and limitations:

The guide focuses on examples from Ontario (Canada) and therefore the cases may not be as relevant to other regions.

The recommendations can be very general and the final checklist is not very specific.

It can be useful as a conceptual framework and source of inspiration with real examples, but at the same time it does not go into detail of how to carry out specific actions.
