Provide concepts and tools for analysis, application, evaluation and monitoring to integrate the gender perspective in mobility and transport systems.
- Methodology:

The guide includes a phase of analysis and diagnosis of the mobility network, the proposal for transformations, and the monitoring and evaluation of these transformations.
For the analysis, techniques such as surveys, questionnaires, participant observation, interviews with key people, discussion groups, inspection tours, exploratory walks, analytical-propositional workshops or community mobility maps are proposed.
For the transformation proposal, cross-cutting criteria (daily and caring, safe and free, nocturnal and festive, and equitable and participatory) and specific actions are provided depending on the mobility scale.
Monitoring and analysis are undertaken using a series of indicators based on the aforementioned cross-cutting criteria.

As this is a cross-cutting issue and addresses all phases of mobility planning (from analysis and diagnosis to monitoring and evaluation), it requires a long implementation time and collaborative work and consensus among multiple actors.
Proper prior training is required to implement the tool.

Number of improvements made to increase orientation and autonomy and cut the time spent travelling at different scales of the mobility and public transport system. Number of initiatives promoted to increase vitality on ground floors, in disused spaces or areas with little activity. Number of overpasses and underpasses removed or adapted. Level of satisfaction by gender, age and other variables regarding lighting and visibility throughout the travel chain and in the mobility system on foot, by bicycle and by public transport.
