Exemplar

En el món de les biblioteques un exemplar fa referència a un sol objecte bibliogràfic. Cal distingir entre exemplar i document, atès que d’un sol document (per exemple, la novel·la “La plaça del diamant” de Mercè Rodoreda) en podem tenir més d’un exemplar. També succeeix amb les revistes: d’un sol document (per exemple, la revista “Minerva” o “Mundo Eléctrico”) podem tenir diversos exemplars de cadascun dels números publicats.
