Documents tecnogràfics

En el món de l’arxivística es parla de documents tecnogràfics per referir-se a la informació representada a partir d’una base tècnica i matemàtica que mostra estructures, artefactes, objectes, i fins i tot éssers de manera objectiva. En son un exemple les representacions d’infraestructures, elements arquitectònics, animals, elements anatòmics o minerals, entre d’altres. A vegades es confonen amb els documents cartogràfics que son la representació objectiva de la superfície terrestre, de l’esfera o d’un cos celeste.
